Cybersecurity Product Manager
The Cybersecurity Product Manager will play a pivotal role in driving the success of the Cybersecurity Team by leading Agile initiatives and fostering collaboration among stakeholders. This role involves facilitating Agile ceremonies such as sprint planning, daily standups, sprint reviews, and retrospectives to ensure effective teamwork and alignment with project goals. The individual will be responsible for gathering and analyzing requirements, maintaining a prioritized product backlog in Jira, and ensuring smooth sprint execution to deliver maximum value. They will work closely with cross-functional stakeholders, including engineering, security, and product teams, to promote alignment and clear communication while tracking project progress, identifying roadblocks, and reporting key metrics. A strong focus on continuous improvement is critical, as the role requires identifying process enhancements to boost team efficiency and effectiveness.
Job Description Summary
Key Responsibilities :
- Agile Leadership : Lead and facilitate Agile ceremonies (sprint planning, daily standups, sprint reviews, retrospectives) for the Cybersecurity Team
- Requirements Gathering and Backlog Management : Elicit, analyze, and document requirements from stakeholders. Create and maintain a prioritized product backlog in Jira.
- Sprint Planning and Execution : Plan and execute sprints, ensuring the team is focused on delivering value and meeting sprint goals.
- Stakeholder Collaboration : Work closely with stakeholders across different teams (engineering, security, product) to ensure alignment and effective communication.
- Project Tracking and Reporting : Track project progress, identify and resolve roadblocks, and report on key metrics to stakeholders.
- Continuous Improvement : Identify opportunities for process improvement and implement changes to enhance team efficiency and effectiveness.
