Job Description - Host - FORTH Club
FORTH Club, Atlanta's first-of-its-kind private members organization , is searching for exceptional hospitality professionals to join our team! FORTH Club is located in Atlanta's hip and historic Old Fourth Ward neighborhood, between the Fourth Ward Park and the BeltLine's Eastside Trail.
FORTH Club will offer wellness initiatives, striking design, food and drink options aplenty, with an emphasis on social connection to incredible group of Atlanta's creators and innovators. The social club members will also have access to our fitness center with workout classes, a luxury spa, and a 2,300-square-foot pool deck with lounge seating and cabanas.
We're setting a new standard for the hospitality industry, so we are seeking talented individuals who hold themselves to a higher standard.

The Host is the first line of communication with our guests; their communication style needs to be concise, clear, and courteous. Hosts at FORTH Atlanta will be guidebooks not only for the restaurant but for the rest of what FORTH Hotel & Club has to offer. They will be snappy with their knowledge, quick on their feet, and calm of mind and body. They will constantly strive to expand their knowledge and willingly share with other staff members to ensure the strongest team possible.
Host Job Responsibilities :
- Strong, upbeat and positive personality
- Warmly greet all guests as they walk in the door and thank them and wish them well as they leave
- Upon arriving, the host should look through the day's reservations and acknowledge / react to any special notes, ironing out plans to accommodate guest needs / celebrations
- The ability to communicate with management and Chefs
- Maintain proper phone etiquette, following established protocols
- Keep an organized host stand, clean and tidy as necessary
- Commitment to high standards with impeccable attention to detail
- Passion for food, beverage and hospitality
- Ability to multi-task in a high volume, fast paced environment
- Team oriented mentality
