A New York-based real estate investment management firm seeks a motivated
Portfolio Analyst to support its growing multifamily investment portfolios.
You will work on various multifamily investment strategies and engage in all aspects of the real estate investment process, including analyzing, sourcing, and executing new investment opportunities; formulating new investment strategies and marketing materials; ongoing financial modeling and liquidity management; and investor reporting.
- Underwrite new multifamily investments across the risk spectrum, including ground-up development opportunities.
- Develop customized memorandums and presentations for investors and prospective investors
- Monitor property-level performance through variance analysis and market research
. - Maintain and analyze fund-level financial models to manage liquidity needs.
- Execute quarterly and annual reporting.
- Generate investment summaries, strategic plans, and other documentation related to fund operations.
- Support portfolio management in the annual budget and asset planning process.
- Assist in the preparation for advisory committee meetings, board meetings, and annual meetings with clients and consultants.

Qualifications:
-At least 4 years of experience in real estate investment/development, investment banking, or finance.
- A solid understanding of multifamily transactions and management
. - Experience underwriting ground-up multifamily development opportunities, including waterfall structures, core/core-plus, and value-added investment opportunities.
- Exceptional proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including the ability to build detailed financial models from scratch. An Excel test will be required during the screening process.
- Strong analytical and writing skills.
- Effective business writing and communication skills.
- Demonstrated time management abilities, with the capacity to manage multiple projects
