Fortified International is seeking a dedicated and professional Unarmed Security Officer to join our team. Immediate hiring is available for candidates with a valid Oregon State Guard License.
Responsibilities:
- Ensure the safety and security of customers, employees, and visitors by maintaining a secure environment.
- Conduct foot patrols in designated areas to deter criminal activities and enforce store policies.
- Monitor surveillance systems and alarms to detect and respond to potential security risks.
- Respond promptly to incidents, emergencies, and alarms, ensuring a swift and effective resolution.
- Prepare comprehensive reports detailing security incidents and daily activities.
- Deliver exceptional customer service by assisting customers with directions, information, and inquiries.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent is required.
- Prior experience in security, law enforcement, or military service is preferred.
- Strong conflict management skills, with the ability to remain calm and effective in challenging situations.
- Ability to work independently and exercise good judgment with minimal supervision.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
