Section Manager, Performance & Operational Engineering
Are you an experienced electrical engineering leader looking for an opportunity to make a significant impact? We are seeking a Section Manager for Performance & Operational Engineering to lead critical functions within our Electrical Engineering organization. Reporting to the Director of Electrical Engineering , this role provides leadership, communication, and strategic oversight for the Performance and Operational Engineering & Mapping sections .
Key Responsibilities :
- Leadership & Strategy : Develop department goals, monitor performance, manage budgets, and ensure compliance with regulatory standards.
- Regulatory & Compliance Oversight : Prepare and submit electric reliability regulatory reports for NYPSC & NJBPU , ensuring adherence to industry standards.
- System Performance & Reliability : Direct engineers in analyzing electric interruptions to meet compliance, regulatory, and audit obligations.
- Stakeholder Collaboration : Work cross-functionally to resolve system issues and escalate electric customer reliability concerns.
- Data & Asset Management : Oversee timely GIS data updates and ensure accurate visual documentation of gas and electric plant assets.
- Disaster Recovery & Business Continuity : To ensure operational resilience, develop and maintain emergency response plans.
- Team Development : Mentor and provide feedback to engineers, fostering a professional, team-oriented environment.
- Industry Best Practices : Stay updated on trends and lead training initiatives to enhance team expertise.
