Job description
We are seeking an energetic and enthusiastic faculty member to teach Surgical Technology Courses in our Surgical Technology program. This is a part-time, professional position reporting directly to the Program Director. The primary responsibility will be to teach Surgical Technology courses. The typical teaching load is one or two courses each term (M - Th 9:00 am - 2:00 pm). Applicants will also be expected to provide academic advising to students, assist the program director and participate in department training, meetings and graduation.
- Certification in Surgical Technology Required through NBSTSA
- At least three years of experience in the field of Surgical Technology
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Highly organized, motivated and results driven
- Prior teaching experience preferred
