Job Description
We are seeking an energetic and enthusiastic faculty member to teach Surgical Technology our Surgical Technologist. This is a full-time, professional position reporting directly to the Program Director. The primary responsibility will be to teach 1-2 courses. The typical teaching load is 1-2 each term. Applicants will also be expected to provide academic advising to students, assist the program director and participate in department training, meetings and graduation.
- Diploma / Degree required (complete based on position as per accrediting and licensing agency standards)
- Certification in Surgical Technology
- At least three years of experience in the field of (complete based on position as per accrediting and licensing agency standards - or delete if general education position)
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Highly organized, motivated and results driven
- Prior teaching experience preferred
