Job Description
We are seeking an energetic and enthusiastic faculty member to teach core classes in our Allied Health Program. This is a part-time, professional position reporting directly to the Program Director. The primary responsibility will be to teach Allied Health and Core courses. The typical teaching load is 2 - 4 courses each term, with 1 hour of preparation per course delivered. Applicants will also be expected to provide academic advising to students, assist the program director and participate in department training, meetings and graduation.
- Diploma / Degree required in Medical Assisting
- Certification in Medical Assisting
- At least three years of experience in the field you will be teaching
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Highly organized, motivated and results driven
- Prior teaching experience preferred
