Position Overview:


ENRG Holdings (the “Company”) seeks an experienced and strategic Senior Vice President

(SVP) of Operations to join our executive leadership team. This role is critical to driving the

operational execution of business strategies and ensuring the overall service quality of the

organization. The SVP of Operations will provide leadership and direction in the areas of

corporate reporting, risk, compliance, the planning and implementation of new systems and

procedures as well as strategic initiatives.


This role requires a seasoned leader with a deep understanding of the oil and gas industry and the oilfield services sector, strong financial acumen, and exceptional leadership capabilities. This position will report to the CEO of ENRG Holdings and can be located in Plano, Midland, and or Odessa.


Key Responsibilities:


Strategic Operational Leadership:

  • Provide day-to-day leadership and management to field operations that mirror the adopted mission and core values of the company
  • Develop and execute an Operational Excellence Strategy, leveraging principles from Lean Six Sigma to improve metrics and drive overall efficiency
  • Contribute to the strategic and business planning process, including providing
  • recommendations to management on the short and long-term operating strategy for the organization
  • Analyze company operations, identifying areas that can be made more cost-effective
  • Identify and leverage key strategic issues and opportunities as they arise
  • Develop innovative and effective strategies to support acquisitions, expansion, and merger opportunities
  • Prepare and present forecasts for future business growth, general economic, industry, and financial conditions and report on their impact on company policies and operations
  • Initiate other activities, whether operational or not, which contribute to the financial health, growth, compliance, and overall fulfillment of the organization


Financial Operations Management:

  • Partner with the CEO and executive team to drive the operational execution of business strategies and support tactical initiatives based on relevant KPIs
  • Provide support for financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and reporting activities to ensure accuracy and alignment with business objectives
  • Ensure compliance with business policies and accounting practices, internal control policies and procedures
  • Oversee reporting and monitoring of operational performance metrics and provide overall financial oversight and monitoring of the operations
  • Ensure the accounting and finance department receives information on timely basis to maintain financial record systems in accordance with GAAP and monitor use of funds


Operational Excellence:

  • Enhance operational processes, systems, and controls to improve efficiency, accuracy, and effectiveness
  • Make recommendations on how to improve operational performance and execute operational improvement plans
  • Lead operational due diligence and integration processes for mergers, acquisitions, and strategic partnerships
  • Partner with the CFO to optimize cash flow management, working capital, and capital allocation to support business operations and growth initiatives
  • Evaluate operational and business intelligence systems to determine the best optimal system for Company strategy and organizational needs


Leadership and Team Development:

  • Build, mentor, and lead a high-performing operational team, fostering a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement
  • Ensure effective communication and coordination between the operations and the finance department and other business units to support organizational objectives
  • Provide and hold organizational leaders responsible for excellent service quality, safe working practices, capital, and operating expense spend
  • Drive talent development and succession planning within operations


Stakeholder Engagement:

  • Represent the company with customers, auditors, the Board of Directors, and GDH
  • Communicate the Company’s operational performance, strategy, and outlook to stakeholders clearly and effectively present monthly operational highlights during business performance reviews with GDH and Company leadership
  • Support Company Board meetings, materials preparation, and presentation


Qualifications:


Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Management, Business Administration, Petroleum
  • Engineering or a related field.
  • An advanced degree (MBA) is highly preferred.


Experience:

  • Minimum of 15 years of progressive experience in oilfield services, drilling, completion, or workover operations, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role.
  • Experience in the energy or oilfield services industry is highly desirable.

  • Proven track record of strategic operational leadership and driving business success in a complex, fast-paced environment.
  • In-depth knowledge of operating principles, regulatory requirements, and industry best practices.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a knack for interpreting complex operational data and making strategic recommendations.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate with senior executives and external stakeholders.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead and develop high-performing teams and manage cross-functional relationships effectively.
  • Ability to manage complex cross-enterprise projects and processes with multiple stakeholders at both senior and junior levels across a diverse range of personalities
  • Excellent presentation skills, including strong oral and writing capabilities; ability to communicate compelling messages to senior managers and external business partners
  • Demonstrated success working both independently and in highly collaborative environments
  • Self-motivated and acts and thinks like an owner/entrepreneur
  • Expert-level Microsoft Office applications
  • Medium to heavy travel required (~50-75% travel expectation)
