What are the responsibilities and job description for the Project Manager position at Fortis Industries, Inc. DBA - LTS, Inc.?
Fortis Industries is interviewing for a Project Manager for our Camp Pendleton contract. The Project Manager is responsible for the supervision, inspection, and control of all preventive maintenance and repair of buildings, facility mechanical systems, electrical requirements and related services associated with our Camp Pendleton contract. The PM must display effective leadership and supervision of employees to achieve teamwork, cooperation, and results while monitoring efficiency, productivity and fiscally responsibility.
Key responsibilities:
- Knowledge of contractual requirements and creation of schedules to maintain properly skilled staffing levels to satisfy those schedules.
- Approves vacation time, overtime, and timecards.
- Ability to train new employees on work-related equipment.
- Ensures all equipment is in proper working condition including HVAC systems, water treatment systems, electrical systems, emergency generator systems and various other mechanical systems.
- Order’s replacement items through purchasing and works with vendors regarding repairs to existing equipment.
- Perform any additional duties on an "as required" basis.
- Issue reports and summaries as required.
- Maintain appropriate records and statistics for administrative and regulatory purposes.
- Resolves clients' concerns, conducts follow-up calls and makes onsite visit inspections for satisfactory job performance.
- Meet periodically with clients and on-site personnel to review status of various elements of facility services and to institute corrective measures for any deficiencies found.
- Create estimates as needed.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree preferred; High school diploma or equivalent required.
- The Project Manager (PM) will have 5 years’ experience in
- O&M of building operational systems including HVAC,
- Fire suppression systems,
- Environmental (to include oil water separator servicing) and electrical systems.
- Microsoft Office computer programs (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Project)
- Possess outstanding written and oral communication skills.
Pay Range:
- Salary Exempt - Annual Salary $80,000 to $85,000
