Duties and Responsibilities
- Managing scope, schedule, and budget for large-sized investigation/remediation projects under CERCLA and RCRA regulations
- Building strong client relationships
- Client and regulatory correspondence
- Technical report writing and review
- Analyzes and applies solutions to atypical and/or semi-complex and challenging issues within area of expertise
- Health and safety stewardship, including local field visits
- Preparing cost estimates and proposals
- Working effectively with project teams, clients, and all other stakeholders
- Coordinating work schedules with PCI staff and subcontractors
- Responsible for quality control of tasks
- Mentor project Jr. staff
- Prepare reports including but not limited to UFP-QAPPs, PMPs, QCPs, AAP/SSHPs, Remedial Investigation Reports, Long Term Monitoring Reports and Remedial Action Operation Reports
Qualifications:
- Travel may be required up to 20%
- Ideal candidate will possess a professional registration of a PE, PG and/or a PMP
- 7 - 15 years of experience preferably in environmental restoration field under CERCLA and RCRA
- Experience in managing human health and/or ecological risk assessments for Department of Defense projects is a plus
- Experience working in Kansas and a working knowledge of Risk-Based Standards for Kansas is a plus
- Ability to manage a project with many moving parts, tight deadlines, and multiple technical teaming partners and subcontractors.
- Must have Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Geology, or Environmental Science or related field
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
- 40-hr HAZWOPER trained with updated 8-hr annual refreshers preferred.
- Current First Aid/CPR certification preferred.
- Other certifications/licenses are a plus.
- Good communication skills, both verbal and written
- Good problem solving skills and able to work well independently
- Proficiency in Microsoft (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project, and Access)
- May be required to undergo a standard background check along with verification of education requirements
Salary Details:
- $90,000 to $115,000 DOE
- Exempt
- Remote

- If required, employees must be able to operate a motor vehicle which may require sitting for prolonged periods of time to visit other company sites. Must have hearing and speech to communicate in person, before groups and over the telephone. Standing in work areas and walking between work areas may be required. This position may require an employee to bend, stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl, climb or balance, reach, push, and pull. The employee may also be required to lift and/or move up to 20 pounds.
