Are you a Nursing Superhero with a burning desire to shape the next generation of nurses? We are seeking extraordinary individuals with experience in PHARMACOLOGY and/or MEDICAL MATH for Nursing to join our faculty team.
Summary of Duties:
- Deliver comprehensive nursing curriculum for students in adult education setting.
- Provide classroom instruction on the topics of Pharmacology and/or Medical Math for Nursing.
- Create engaging lesson plans and learning materials to facilitate student understanding and application of nursing concepts.
- Conduct classroom lectures, discussions, and interactive activities to enhance student learning and critical thinking skills.
- Evaluate student performance through exams, and assignments.
- Provide constructive feedback and guidance to students to support their professional growth and development.
- Collaborate with other faculty members to ensure consistency in curriculum delivery and assessment methods.
- Stay updated on current trends and advancements in nursing practice to incorporate into teaching strategies.
Qualifications:
- Conferred BSN required. Master's degree in Nursing (MSN) or MSN in progress preferred.
- Active RN license in the state of Florida.
- Minimum of 3 years of clinical experience in a hospital or healthcare setting.
- Previous experience as a nursing instructor or educator in pharmacology or medical math is highly desirable.
- Strong knowledge of adult education principles and teaching methodologies.
- Excellent communication skills to effectively convey complex nursing concepts to students.
- Ability to create a positive and inclusive learning environment for all students.
- Proficient in using technology for instructional purposes.
