Packager

Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Packager to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring that products are packaged efficiently and in compliance with industry standards. This position requires a strong understanding of packaging processes, adherence to FDA regulations, and the ability to work collaboratively within a warehouse environment.

Duties

• Operate hand tools and machinery to assemble and package products according to specifications.
• Ensure all packaging meets quality standards and adheres to CGMP (Current Good Manufacturing Practices) guidelines.
• Utilize forklifts for the movement of materials and finished goods within the warehouse.
• Fabricate packaging materials as needed, ensuring proper dimensions and specifications are met.
• Maintain an organized workspace, ensuring all tools and equipment are properly stored after use.
• Conduct routine inspections of packaged products to ensure compliance with FDA regulations.
• Collaborate with team members to optimize packaging processes and improve efficiency.
• Troubleshoot any mechanical issues with packaging equipment, utilizing mechanical knowledge as necessary.
• Document packaging activities accurately, including any deviations from standard procedures.

Experience

• Previous experience in a warehouse or manufacturing environment is preferred.
• Familiarity with hand tools, packaging machinery, and forklifts is highly desirable.
• Basic mechanical knowledge is essential for troubleshooting equipment issues.
• Experience working with logic controllers or similar technology is a plus.
