JOB OVERVIEW :
The Jr. Business Intelligence Analyst’s primary responsibility as a member of the Business Intelligence team is to support various business functions at Fortis with data-driven insights and analyses using dashboards and reports. They will support the administration of daily, weekly, and monthly data deliverables by assisting with the collection, analysis and reporting of data. This role involves working closely with various stakeholders to ensure data accuracy and integrity.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES :
- Dashboard and Report Development : Assist in the creation and maintenance of Business Intelligence dashboards and reports, including managing the ETL (extract, transform, load) process.
- Stakeholder Communication : Regularly engage with business leaders to gather requirements and provide feedback for dashboarding and reporting needs.
- Testing and Quality Assurance : Conduct User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and Quality Assurance (QA) within the Business Intelligence Data Lake environment.
- Ad Hoc Data Analysis : Perform ad hoc data analysis to support various business functions, including Finance, Accounting, Sales, Operations, and Marketing.
- Process Documentation : Assist in documenting processes, including defining data definitions and creating process workflows.
- Team Support : Provide day-to-day data support to Business Intelligence and Finance team members.
