Job Title: Assembly Technician

Reports To: Assembly Lead

Summary:

The Assembly Technician is responsible for assembling high-quality safes according to specifications. This includes wiring, testing, and troubleshooting electrical components, ensuring all systems meet security and operational standards.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Assemble safe components per instructions and specifications.
• Wire, route, and connect cables and electrical components accurately and safely.
• Conduct thorough functional testing, including voltage, continuity, and current checks.
• Diagnose and resolve electrical assembly issues, such as wiring faults and component failures.
• Inspect assembled safes for defects and ensure quality standards are met.
• Adhere to all safety protocols and use appropriate PPE.
• Collaborate with engineers and project managers to meet deadlines and custom requirements.
• Maintain accurate assembly documentation, including logs, test results, and inventory records.
• Maintain a clean and organized workspace.
• Assist with equipment maintenance.
• Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Strong attention to detail and precision in assembly and wiring.
• Ability to troubleshoot and resolve electrical issues effectively.
• Adherence to safety protocols and awareness of electrical safety hazards.
• Excellent time management and organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Work Environment:

• Workshop environment with moderate to loud noise levels.
• Potential exposure to sharp objects, slippery surfaces, and moving parts.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $18.09 - $19.54 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
