To help aid in the creation of this new casino culture, Parkwest Casinos is looking to hire a Surveillance Officer. Our Surveillance Officers are responsible for providing a safe environment by ensuring the security of the casino, employees, and the guests. A successful Surveillance Officer will possess keen observation skills and understand the basic card room games while demonstrating a high level of customer service to various personality types from multiple cultures.
Responsibilities
Qualifications
- High School diploma or general education degree (GED) required.
- Valid CA Guard Card
- Minimum of 1 year experience in surveillance, security or police arena required.
- Familiarity with video surveillance equipment preferred.
- Familiarity with games under surveillance preferred.
- Ability to maintain alert attention to detail throughout the course of a shift.
- Ability to perform basic PC troubleshooting.
- Must be computer literate.
- Must have excellent oral and written communications skills.
- Must be able to pass a mandatory drug test and criminal background check.
Physical and mental requirements
- Must be able to lift and carry tools, supplies, and inventory up to 25 pounds.
- Must be able to perform all essential duties with or without accommodation.
