Parkwest Casino is looking for an enthusiastic and motivated Tournament Floorpersons.
Qualified individuals for Tournament Floorperson provides seating and service to customers in the Tournament section. Will be supervising dealer performance, protects integrity of the games, and maintains a comfortable, friendly environment by performing the additional duties below. This position is the perfect opportunity for a confident experienced individual with a great understanding of casino floor operations.
- Generally responsible for starting tournament tables.
- Authorized to assign service personnel with the section.
- Greets customer in a friendly manner.
- Explains seating policy and provides brief instructions to customers as needed.
- Coordinates with Dealer Coordinator to start new tables.
- Consolidates tables as tables break down.
- Puts new decks of cards into tables and changes setups.
- Handles customer complaints and disputes in a tactful, cooperative manner.
- Responsible for knowing all Tournament Director's Association and Parkwest Bicycle Casino House Rules.
- Monitors player conduct. Takes appropriate action when necessary to ensure that players do not disrupt games or harass other players or the Dealer.
- Writes customer incident reports and notes team member misconduct.
- Reports any irregularities or suspicious activity concerning the integrity of the game to the Poker Lead Floor.
- Contributes to daily reports and control sheets.
- Other job-related duties as assigned.
- High School Diploma or General Equivalency Diploma (GED) required.
- At least one (1) year experience as a Dealer and Assistant Floorperson.
- Previous supervisory experience preferred.
- Open availability to work any shift; Day, Swing or Graveyard, weekends and holidays.
- MUST BE 21 YEARS OLD!!!
- Must provide evidence of employment eligibility in the U.S.
- Must be able to pass a mandatory drug test, criminal background and credit check.
