Job Title: Project Manager
Location: VA
Salary: $130,000 to $150,000 plus benefits
Fortiva are delighted to be partnering with an Owner's Representative firm in Virginia to help recruit them a new Project Manager. Supporting a diverse range of projects across the Mission Critical space building out data center campus's for both Big Tech and smaller bespoke clients.
Key Responsibilities:
- Documentation development with improved quality and efficiency
- Manage multiple projects of varying complexities
- Manage and perform all tasks required to deliver a project:
- Contract review and development
- Cost estimate/report review
- Industry benchmarking
- Effectively develop documentation including the following:
- RFP’s
- Project schedules
- Action items matrices
- Meeting minutes and agendas
- Participate in client presentations for new work
- Comfortably and efficiently chairs project meetings
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, or a related field.
- 1-3 years of experience in project management, with a focus on data centers or large-scale infrastructure projects.
- Proven experience as an owner’s representative, managing complex projects from inception to completion.
- Deep knowledge of data center design, construction, and operational requirements.
- Strong understanding of project management software and tools (e.g., MS Project, Procore, Primavera).
- Exceptional leadership, communication, and negotiation skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and prioritize tasks effectively.
- PMP (Project Management Professional) certification or similar credentials is a plus.
- Strong knowledge of budgeting, cost estimation, and contract management.
- Ability to travel to project sites as needed.
