Responsibilities

• Assist patients in selecting eyeglasses and contact lenses based on their prescription and lifestyle needs.
• Provide exceptional customer service, ensuring a positive experience for all clients.
• Perform fittings and adjustments of eyewear to ensure proper fit and comfort.
• Maintain knowledge of current optical trends, products, and technology.
• Process orders and manage inventory effectively using retail management systems.
• Collaborate with ophthalmologists and optometrists to ensure comprehensive patient care.
• Educate patients on proper eyewear care and maintenance.
• Handle medical billing processes as needed, ensuring accuracy in patient records.

Requirements

• Previous experience in an optical setting or retail environment is preferred.
• Strong sales skills with the ability to engage customers effectively.
• Ability to operate optical systems and equipment proficiently.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with a focus on customer satisfaction.
• Attention to detail and strong organizational skills are essential for managing patient records and inventory.

Pay: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour
