We are currently seeking a Shipping Lab Coordinator to ensure samples are processed, stored, and shipped according to protocol requirements.
Key Responibilities
- Prepare, label, store, pack, and dispatch samples to external laboratories in accordance with
- applicable regulations.
- Apply correct shipping procedures according to international regulations for biohazardous and
- dangerous goods.
- Complete all related documentation. Tracks and documents PK sample shipments.
- Formulate specimen codes from protocol and print labels.
- Obtains body substances for testing in the approved manner. These substances may include blood, saliva, sputum, urine, and stool.
- Uses universal precautions when handling specimens.And all other duties as needed or assigned.
What Qualifications You'll Bring
- High School diploma or equivalent is required.
- Fortrea may consider relevant and equivalent experience in lieu of educational requirements.
- Three years of laboratory experience
