We are seeking a hands-on Controller who is motivated to work in a fast-paced environment within a cutting edge industry - renewable energy! The ideal candidate will wear many hats and be competent in prioritizing, working with little supervision, and highly accountable. *This is an in-office position.*
Responsibilities:
- Responsible for monthly financial closing process
- Provide monthly financial reports for the management team
- Support CFO on preparing quarterly reports for the Board Meetings
- Cash flow management
- Manage the Senior Accountant
- Invoicing customers and managing accounts receivable
- Work daily with customers to ensure proper payments
- Prepare account reconciliations
- Record payroll entries to the General Ledger
- File monthly sales tax returns
- Inventory management
- Manage customer’s credit applications
- Require resale certificate from customers
- Prepare weekly reports for the management team
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance; MBA and/or CPA preferred
- 7 years of directly related experience, including supervisory experience
- Working knowledge of QuickBooks Desktop & ADP Workforce Now
- Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite
- Experience with inventory management
- Sense of urgency, accountable, and coachable
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- A high degree of reliability, honesty, and integrity
- Mandarin speaking skills a plus but not required
