Key Responsibilities
Position Overview
The Customer Service Representative will provide essential administrative and client support to ensure smooth daily operations. This role requires strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Essential Job Functions
- Answer incoming phone calls and direct them to the appropriate team members.
- Prepare and process proposals, invoices, finance agreements, and commercial services agreements.
- Follow up on policy cancellations and reinstatements to ensure timely resolution.
- Contact clients to collect necessary information for processing and servicing policies.
- Distribute and send insurance policies and related documents to clients promptly.
- Accurately enter data into the agency management system to ensure client records are up to date.
- Scan and save documents in the agency management system, maintaining an organized digital record.
- Handle the distribution of incoming and outgoing mail and faxes in a timely manner.
- Follow established agency systems and procedures to maintain operational efficiency.
- Attend at least 90% of all training sessions provided by management to enhance skills and knowledge.
- Adhere to the agency's attendance policy to ensure consistent and reliable support.
Requirements
- 440 License (must obtain within the first 30 days of employment if not already licensed at hire).
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with a professional and approachable demeanor.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to manage inquiries and resolve issues effectively.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and general internet navigation.
- Commitment to continuing education and professional development.
Skills:
- In-depth knowledge of personal insurance products and markets in Florida.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain strong client relationships.
