The Data Warehouse Architect will lead the design, development, and implementation of a comprehensive data warehouse solution as part of the CRM and Analytics platform migration project for LADWP's Customer Service Organization (CSO). This role is responsible for ensuring seamless data migration, integration, and optimization of data analytics capabilities while aligning with utility industry best practices. The architect will work closely with LADWP's Information Technology Services (ITS), business stakeholders, and system integrators to ensure data integrity, scalability, and accessibility of key reports, dashboards, and analytical tools. This role is critical to the success of LADWP's CRM/Analytics migration by delivering a scalable, high-performing, and data-driven solution.

WORK SCHEDULE: Monday-Friday, standard business hours

PAY RATE: $90hour to $100/hour

WHAT YOU'LL DO:
Data Warehouse Architecture & Development

Design and develop a new CRM/Analytics data warehouse that supports enhanced reporting, dashboards, KPIs, and customer insights.

Ensure the migration of data from Oracle Siebel CRM (version 23), Oracle Analytics Server (OAS 5.9), Informatica, and DAC (11g) to the new CRM/Analytics platform.

Develop data models and architectures that align with industry best practices for utilities, ensuring seamless data integration across multiple business systems.

Implement data governance policies, including integrity, security, and compliance requirements.
System Integration & Data Migration

Develop data migration strategies ensuring a smooth transition from legacy systems to the new CRM/Analytics platform.

Design and configure data integration solutions to connect CRM/Analytics with other LADWP applications, including Customer Care & Billing (CCB), Customer Contact Center Platform, Outage Management Systems, and Workforce Management Information System.

Implement real-time and batch processing for seamless data flow between CRM and external systems.
Data Analytics & Reporting

Build and optimize analytical dashboards, reports, and visualization tools to enhance LADWP's customer experience and operational efficiency.

Work with business teams to develop predictive models and AI-driven analytics that support proactive customer engagement and operational decision-making.

Incorporate geospatial data visualization capabilities to improve customer service and operational analytics.
Performance Optimization & Troubleshooting

Perform data performance tuning to optimize ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) processes and ensure system efficiency.

Develop tools and procedures for data validation, troubleshooting, and performance monitoring of the CRM/Analytics platform.

Ensure high availability and reliability of the data warehouse, providing ongoing support and maintenance.
Documentation, Training & Knowledge Transfer

Develop comprehensive technical documentation on data models, workflows, integration points, and system configurations.

Provide training and knowledge transfer to LADWP staff, ensuring long-term sustainability of the CRM/Analytics platform.

Work collaboratively with project managers to track deliverables, risks, and milestones related to data migration and integration.
WHAT YOU'LL BRING:

Bachelor's or master's degree in computer science, Data Science, Information Systems, or a related field.

10 years of experience in data warehousing, data architecture, and business intelligence, preferably within the utilities industry.

Expertise in Oracle Siebel CRM, Oracle Analytics Server (OAS), Informatica, and DAC.

Hands-on experience with ETL tools, data integration frameworks, and cloud/on-premises data solutions.

Strong knowledge of data governance, security, and compliance best practices.

Experience working with AI-driven analytics, predictive modeling, and geospatial data visualization.

Excellent problem-solving, stakeholder management, and communication skills.

Experience in large-scale CRM/Analytics migrations within a government or utility organization.
