We are seeking a highly experienced and technically proficient Performance Tester - Senior to lead performance engineering efforts, including test planning, scripting, execution, and results analysis. The ideal candidate will have deep experience with performance testing tools such as Microfocus Performance Center or JMeter and the ability to analyze and report on application performance in real-world usage scenarios.

COMPENSATION: Competitive hourly rate based on experience

WHAT YOU'LL DO:

Plan, design, and develop performance test strategies and test cases
-
Set up test environments, develop test data, and manage performance-related defects

Develop and customize performance test scripts using C language within Vugen
-
Create performance test scenarios/scripts using tools such as Microfocus Performance Center or JMeter
-
Identify key performance indicators (KPIs) and replicate real-world usage patterns
-
Validate and analyze test results; prepare reports using metrics like Transaction Response Time, Hits per Second, Throughput, Memory, and CPU utilization

Provide performance test results and analysis to stakeholders

Collaborate with project teams to gather NFRs, supervise script development, and strategize for test data

Support performance delivery teams in meeting project deadlines and deliverables

Translate business requirements into performance testing templates and plans
WHAT YOU'LL BRING:
Required Qualifications:

Proven experience developing performance test scripts using tools such as Microfocus Performance Center or JMeter

Strong proficiency with C language for script optimization in Vugen

Hands-on experience analyzing and validating test results and performance metrics

Ability to plan and execute performance tests for complex applications

Experience translating business and technical requirements into test strategies and plans

Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills

Strong communication and reporting skills for technical and non-technical audiences
