We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Systems Administrator (SharePoint Enterprise) to support the Combined Arms Center Headquarters at Fort Leavenworth, KS. You will be responsible for the enterprise administration and operations of the CAC Online Web Services (COWS) platform, ensuring 24x7 functionality, security compliance, and business continuity. You will have extensive experience in SharePoint enterprise administration, Microsoft Server environments, disaster recovery, and federal cybersecurity compliance. This is a 7-month contract opportunity starting June 23, 2025.
**Must be a U.S. citizen with favorable background investigation and meet DoD IT Level II/III clearance requirements.

WHAT YOU'LL DO:
-
Maintain continuous operations and support for COWS, including on-call response and incident resolution.

Apply DoD-directed updates, security patches, and STIG compliance across all systems.

Manage disaster recovery, contingency planning, and business continuity protocols.

Create and update system documentation including architecture, design, deployment, and operations guides.

Maintain and administer SharePoint 2021-SPO enterprise farm and supporting infrastructure.

Develop and deliver user instruction materials and schedules; maintain online registration and certification access.

Provide weekly task reporting, system activity metrics, and summarized project dashboards.

Support daily web content management, user support, and helpdesk ticket resolution.

Manage SQL Server databases, backups, and ensure compliance with DoD database security standards.

Oversee C-Cure 9000 Security Server maintenance and updates.
-
Attend and document key meetings; coordinate updates with COR and stakeholders.

Support CAC digital transformation and automation initiatives aligned with CMMI standards.
WHAT YOU'LL BRING:

Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience.

Compliance with DoD 8140.03 / DoDD 8570.1M (IAT Level II or III required).

IT Level II clearance designation per AR 25-2.

MCSE Server Infrastructure or equivalent certification.

Practical experience with SharePoint 2021-SPO, Windows Server 2019r2, VMware, SQL Server.

Experience with DotNetNuke (DNN) EVOQ Content Cloud preferred.

Five years' experience administering SharePoint enterprise farms preferred.

Hands-on experience with disaster recovery, patch management, and vulnerability remediation.

Strong background in project/program management and enterprise IT support.

Familiarity with federal information systems, cybersecurity frameworks, and business process automation.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with ability to produce technical documentation and user guides.
