Join our team supporting the Combined Arms Center (CAC) Enterprise SharePoint Portal and associated systems at Fort Leavenworth, KS. As a Systems Administrator, you will play a critical role in maintaining system performance, ensuring cybersecurity compliance, enabling business continuity, and supporting enterprise content management efforts. You will work closely with military and civilian stakeholders, supporting web and database operations, managing helpdesk functions, and delivering user training and documentation in a high-visibility DoD environment.
**Must be a U.S. citizen with favorable background investigation and meet DoD IT Level II/III clearance requirements.

PAY RATE: $28/hour - $33/hour

WHAT YOU'LL DO:
-
Provide 24/7 operations and maintenance support for the CAC Online Web Services (COWS), including contingency operations and disaster recovery.

Administer Windows Server, VMware, SharePoint 2021-SPO environments, including timely application of STIGs, patches, and updates per DoD regulations.

Develop and maintain technical documentation such as deployment guides, architecture diagrams, system security plans, and recovery plans.

Perform database administration tasks, including backup and restore operations for ArmyU SQL databases.

Create and maintain user documentation, training materials, short instructional videos, and facilitate SharePoint instruction sessions.

Deliver weekly and monthly reports on system activity, helpdesk issues, project statuses, and performance metrics aligned with ITIL and ISO 20000 standards.

Ensure compliance with DoDM 8140.03 / DoDD 8570.1M certification requirements, and meet AR 25-2 IT Level II clearance mandates.

Support the C-Cure Access Control Security System and ensure its continuous operation and compliance.
WHAT YOU'LL BRING:

U.S. Citizenship and eligibility to access NIPRNET with a favorable background investigation.

Associate's degree in Computer Programming or equivalent experience.

Active DoD 8140.03 / DoD 8570.1M certification (e.g., VMware Certified Professional or equivalent).

AR 25-2 IT Level II clearance designation.

Minimum five (5) years of experience administering enterprise SharePoint environments and supporting cybersecurity remediation efforts.

Hands-on experience with VMware 6.x, Windows Server 2019r2, SharePoint 2021-SPO, and Veeam Backup & Replication.

Strong technical documentation skills, including authoring deployment plans, business continuity plans, and system design documents.

Familiarity with Army IT standards, Section 508 compliance, and process automation practices in a federal environment.
