We are seeking an experienced Business Development Manager with expertise in government contracting to join our team. As a Disabled Veteran Business Enterprise (DVBE) specializing in IT and call center staffing, we are looking for a strategic and results-driven professional to identify, pursue, and secure government contracts. You will deeply understand the government procurement process, contract vehicles, and compliance requirements while leveraging existing relationships to drive business growth.
WORKSITE: Remote
WORK SCHEDULE: Monday through Friday, Travel estimate up to 50%
COMPENSATION: $85,000.00 - $100,000.00 plus commission

- Develop and execute business development strategies to identify and secure government contracts.
- Research federal, state, and local government procurement opportunities relevant to IT and call center staffing.
- Build and maintain relationships with government agencies, prime contractors, and procurement officers.
- Lead the capture management process, including identifying opportunities, developing proposals, and managing bids.
- Monitor contract vehicles, RFPs, RFQs, and task orders to ensure timely responses.
- Collaborate with internal teams to develop competitive proposals and pricing strategies.
- Stay up-to-date with government contracting regulations, compliance requirements, and industry trends.
- Represent the company at government contracting events, networking functions, and industry conferences.
- Drive revenue growth by securing prime and subcontractor opportunities.
- Develop strategic partnerships with other veteran-owned businesses, small businesses, and industry leaders.
Education & Certifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Government Affairs, Public Administration, or a related field preferred.
- Certifications such as Certified Professional Contracts Manager (CPCM) or Certified Federal Contracts Manager (CFCM) are a plus.
- 5 years of experience in business development, sales, or contract management within the government contracting space.
- Proven track record of securing government contracts for IT and call center staffing services.
- Strong understanding of government procurement vehicles, regulations, and FAR/DFARS compliance.
- Experience working with Small Business Administration (SBA) programs, DVBE, SDVOSB, and 8(a) contracts is highly preferred.
- Strong negotiation, networking, and relationship-building skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication for proposal writing and contract negotiations.
- Ability to analyze government solicitations and contract requirements.
- Self-motivated and results-oriented with strong project management skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency in CRM tools, contract management software, and government procurement portals (SAM.gov, GSA eBuy, etc.).
