Principal Business Analyst

The Principal Business Analyst is a strategic leadership role responsible for overseeing complex analyses of business goals, objectives, and needs within the organization. Serving as a subject matter expert and liaison between technical and non-technical stakeholders, the Principal Business Analyst drives the alignment of business and technology initiatives, ensuring effective communication and successful adoption of value-added solutions. This role involves analyzing business requirements, optimizing business processes, and contributing to the development of innovative solutions that align with organizational goals.

PAY RATE: $46/hour

What You'll Do

Strategic Business Process Oversight:

• Plan, oversee, and design highly complex business processes.
• Provide actionable recommendations to improve and support business operations.
• Regularly track and report on key performance indicators (KPIs), identifying areas for improvement and implementing strategies to achieve performance targets.
  
  

Business Requirements Analysis And Modeling

• Analyze and document clients' complex business requirements and processes.
• Develop conceptual data and process models, including data dictionaries and volume estimates, to communicate requirements effectively.
  
  

Testing And System Validation

• Lead the creation of advanced test case scenarios for business application testing.
• Monitor and verify that system designs meet client requirements.
  
  

Project Leadership And Coordination

• Serve as the lead business analyst on information technology projects.
• Provide guidance and support to project teams throughout the project lifecycle.
• Estimate project-related tasks and ensure alignment with project timelines and deliverables.
  
  

Technical And Business Alignment

• Facilitate the translation of technology requirements into business language.
• Drive client adoption of innovative, value-added business solutions.
• Maintain and refine the architecture of complex business process domains to align with the organization's technology priorities.
  
  

Stakeholder Engagement

• Act as a liaison between technical teams, clients, and non-technical personnel.
• Ensure effective communication and collaboration among all stakeholders.
  
  

What You'll Bring

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Information Systems, or a related field
• A minimum of 5 years of experience in business processes and business analysis, preferably in the healthcare field.
• Demonstrated expertise in interfacing technology with functional groups within an organization.
• Familiarity with computer programming concepts and coding languages.
• Experience implementing and supporting organizational value propositions.
