As an onsite Sacramento Project Manager you will be responsible for full-scale project management, including scheduling, risk management, and budgeting, with a strong emphasis on stakeholder engagement. You will work closely with the Deputy Director and Director of the program, ensuring that large-scale projects for the State of California are effectively managed. The role requires oversight of M&O (Maintenance & Operations) work, including vendor management and daily operational activities.
CONTRACT DURATION: Less than two years remaining on the contract, with a possible one-year extension.
WORKSITE: Hybrid, must reside in CA with travel required to Sacramento
WORK SCHEDULE: Monday - Friday
COMPENSATION: $80.00 -$90.00 per hour

Education & Certifications:
- PMP (Project Management Professional) certification is required.
- 6 years of project management experience within the last 10 years.
- State of California project experience is required (projects in other states won't be sufficient).
- Must have managed large-scale projects for the State of California.
- Excellent project management, risk management, and budgeting skills.
- Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills.
- Experience managing vendors and M&O work.
- Ability to collaborate with teams and ensure smooth project execution.
