Business Analyst

Job Title:: Business Analyst

Job Location:: Coral Gables FL

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Finance, Business, or a related field.
• Minimum 3 years of experience as a Business Analyst, with a focus on data-centric projects.
• Proficient in SQL, Power BI, Excel (including Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP), and data modeling concepts.
• Experience with data migration, ETL processes, and technical documentation.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with excellent attention to detail.
• Ability to facilitate meetings, drive discussions, and communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Experience with Agile and Waterfall project management methodologies.
• Familiarity with tools such as JIRA, Confluence, and Visio for documentation and tracking.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Proven experience in the mortgage industry, with a strong understanding of financial processes such as escrow, accounting, and ledger transfers.
• Experience with cloud-based platforms and APIs.
• Background in working with big data technologies such as Apache Hive, Kafka, or MongoDB.
• Knowledge of data governance and quality frameworks.
• Professional certifications (e.g., Scrum Master, Product Owner, Business Analyst) are a plus.
