Full Job Description
Our company is seeking a Receptionist/Office Assistant to manage the front desk, answer phones and handle duties for various departments within the organization. We are looking for an individual who is efficient and comfortable being a member of a team. The ability to multi-task and managing administrative support, is essential in this position. The ideal candidate for this job is resourceful, a good problem solver and very organized. Completing tasks in a timely manner and good attendance is key in this position.
Responsibilities
- Answering, transferring calls and taking messages
- Working with shipping department to prepare shipping documents
- Working with sales department to key in and maintain invoices
- Bookkeeping- logging invoices and payments
- Respond to questions and requests for information
- Provide general support to visitors/delivery drivers
Skills
- Proven experience as an office administrator, office assistant or relevant role
- Outstanding communication and interpersonal abilities
- Familiarity with Microsoft office and QuickBooks
Schedule
- 8-hour shift (10:00am to 6:30pm)
- Evening shift preferred but not required
Requirements
· AA degree (Preferred)
· Microsoft Office: 1 year (Preferred)
· QuickBook knowledge
Spanish Speaking (Preferred but not required)
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $19.00 - $22.00 per hour
