Job Description
The Lead Financial Analyst, Operations is responsible for accurate and timely Reporting, forecasting, planning and communication for total FBIN Supply Chain Period costs for $100M of expenses for the 5 business units as well as corporate, within multiple systems. In addition to period costs, this individual will be the finance support for the indirect sourcing team.
RESPONSIBLIITIES:
What you will be doing
- Ownership of FBIN Period cost consolidation, reporting, forecasting and annual budget development by partnering with the Supply Chain Leadership team
- Partner with Corporate FP&A team to ensure appropriate costs are loaded
- Prepare reporting for ME packages, MBR, QBR, Plan and forecast
- Communicate across Supply Chain, Commercial finance and Corporate FP&A teams
- Partnering with Supply Chain Leaders to accurate plan and forecast expenses
- On going evaluation of risk and opportunities to current plans and forecast
- Support BU ringfence initiatives as needed
- Develop annual headcount plan by business to support salary and benefits bottoms up build
- Identify and implement process improvements
- Monthly variance analysis and driver commentary
- Partner with the indirect sourcing team by creating financial models to assist in decision making
- Support audits requests as required
Qualifications
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance or Accounting is required; CPA preferred, MBA preferred.
- Minimum of 7-10 years of relevant experience with a mix of Financial Planning & Analysis, operational, or commercial finance is required
- Ability to work independently, as well as, collaboratively across all levels of the organization, and build relations with internal teams.
- Self-starter who has had success working in ambiguous situations
- Ability to think on a global basis in terms of organizational and process standardization.
- Strong organizational skills and ability to prioritize work and complete assignments accurately, either independently or as part of a team, under pressure of competing deadlines and with frequent interruptions
- Ability to improve existing processes or provide new value to business areas through continuous improvement tools.
- Proven strategic planning, analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Must be a team player with the ability to think conceptually, be flexible and strategic
- MS Office skills required
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Prior experience working in a Shared Services or Global Business Services organization is preferred.
- SAP, Oracle and Qlikview experience preferred
Additional Information
Fortune Brands believes in fair and equitable pay. A reasonable estimate of the base salary range for this role is $93,000 USD - $143,000 USD. Please note that actual salaries may vary within the range, or be above or below the range, based on factors including, but not limited to, education, training, experience, professional achievement, business need, and location. In addition to base salary, employees will participate in either an annual bonus plan based on company and individual performance, or a role-based sales incentive plan.
