Job Description
As a Senior Global Supply Chain Systems Analyst, you will play a key role in enhancing data visibility and reporting across multiple companies. As part of the Supply Chain Digital Transformation team, you will support strategic initiatives by optimizing system processes, improving data access, and driving informed decision-making.
This role requires a deep understanding of ERP systems to implement process improvements, support change management, and enhance reporting capabilities for supply chain teams. You will also work closely with business users to ensure seamless adoption of new tools and processes through testing, documentation, and training. A key aspect of the role is designing solutions that empower users to be self-sufficient, minimizing ongoing support needs and reducing reliance on continuous feedback loops.
This position is eligible for a hybrid schedule based in Deerfield, IL.
RESPONSIBLIITIES:
Systems Management & Data Integrity:
- Establish and maintain data integrity processes to ensure seamless system management and data accuracy.
- Provide regular updates on data integrity with actionable recommendations to improve decision-making.
- Act as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) for system-related initiatives, including ERP implementations, third-party software integrations, and acquisitions.
- Work closely with IT and supply chain teams to extract data from ERP systems, query data from data catalogs, and integrate it with modern BI and visualization tools.
Business User Collaboration & Self-Sufficiency:
- Work directly with business users to gather requirements, perform testing, document processes, and ensure smooth implementation of system enhancements.
- Develop user-friendly documentation and training materials that enable teams to effectively utilize new tools and processes without ongoing dependency.
- Support solution design with a focus on user self-sufficiency, ensuring teams can operate independently post-implementation without requiring continuous support.
Operational & Analytical Support:
- Facilitate data availability by working closely with data engineers, querying data catalogs & ERPs (SAP, Oracle, etc.), and collaborating with functional subject matter experts to ensure accurate and relevant data is integrated into reporting tools to facilitate data-driven decision-making.
- Act as a bridge between business users and technical teams, ensuring data requirements are clearly defined and aligned with business objectives.
- Support the development of dashboards by ensuring data integrity, usability, and accessibility from structured data sources, rather than building the dashboards directly.
- Facilitate user access to digital tools, ensuring teams can efficiently navigate and leverage technology to drive operational excellence.
Training & Change Management:
- Develop and deliver training for both legacy and new system processes to ensure user adoption.
- Lead change management efforts when rolling out new capabilities, ensuring smooth transitions across teams
Qualifications
Education:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Operations, IT Systems, Supply Chain, or a related field.
Experience:
- Minimum 3 years of experience in a Global Supply Chain and systems environment with a focus on data management, reporting, and system implementation.
- Strong ERP experience, including systems architecture, ERP implementations, and system integrations (SAP, Oracle).
- Proven experience working with business users on testing, documentation, and training to ensure smooth adoption of new tools.
- Experience facilitating data availability for reporting and dashboard development, including querying structured data sources and data catalogs.
- Ability to develop solutions that enable self-sufficiency, minimizing the need for ongoing support and reducing reliance on continuous feedback loops.
- Familiarity with SQL and data cataloging tools (e.g., Alation, Snowflake, etc.) for querying and retrieving structured data.
- Ability to balance competing priorities and drive initiatives to completion.
