Job Description
The Senior Project Manager – Transformation Office is responsible for driving change and realizing Fortune Brands Innovations’ transformational goals. This role will lead company-wide transformation initiatives by managing business case and timeline development, project and program tracking, budget and reporting, and successful project and program management and delivery. The Senior Project Manager will serve as a trusted, results-oriented, transformation subject matter expert and brief key stakeholders on all aspects of the included initiatives. The role will accelerate value delivery to the organization by partnering with business units to outperform industry benchmarks and overdeliver on business cases.
Location: Deerfield, IL (Hybrid, on-site Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday)
RESPONSIBLIITIES:
- Serve as the single accountable party for assisting in the definition, planning, and delivery of strategic transformation initiatives and ensuring the results meet the identified goals and objectives.
- Support communication efforts by enabling the design, development, delivery, and management of key transformation communications. Keep stakeholders informed.
- Leverage the structured methodology for leading change management activities; create a strategy to support adoption of transformation changes company wide.
- Assess change impacts by conducting impact analyses, assessing change readiness, and identifying key stakeholders.
- Ensure commitments are achieved within agreed schedule, cost, and resources.
- Validate financial forecasts and provide on-going reconciliation of resources and other related expenditures.
- Track initiative milestones while developing, maintaining and reporting on the overall transformation delivery plan.
- Perform regular risk and issue assessments for the transformation initiatives and develop, communicate and execute recovery plans
Qualifications
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor’s degree in business or a related field is required. MBA preferred.
- Minimum of 5 years of program/project management experience inclusive in leading large, cross-functional transformations required.
- Must be able to travel up to 10%
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- PMI Project Management Professional (PMP) certification is preferred.
- Prosci Certified Change Practitioner.
- Experience in working in Agile organizations preferred.
- Post-acquisition integration experience preferred.
- Proven ability to quickly earn the trust of senior leadership, sponsors, and key stakeholders; mobilize and motivate teams; set direction and approach; resolve conflict; remove barriers; deliver tough messages with grace; execute with limited information and ambiguity.
- Experience with and knowledge of change management principles, Prosci methodology and tools.
- Flexible and adaptable; able to work in ambiguous situations.
- Must possess acute business acumen and understanding of organizational issues and challenges.
- Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
- Must possess exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal; ability to communicate and present at all levels with clarity and precision.
- Strong analytical, project and program management skills, including a thorough understanding of how to interpret business needs and translate them into operational requirements.

Fortune Brands believes in fair and equitable pay. A reasonable estimate of the base salary range for this role is Hiring Pay Range: $81,000 USD - $124,300 USD. Please note that actual salaries may vary within the range, or be above or below the range, based on factors including, but not limited to, education, training, experience, professional achievement, business need, and location. In addition to base salary, employees will participate in either an annual bonus plan based on company and individual performance, or a role-based sales incentive plan.
