Summary Of Position
Reporting to the Sr. Director of eCommerce, the Sr. Manager of Digital Merchandising will be responsible for developing and executing on-site strategies, managing category performance, and optimizing our Salesforce platform. This role requires deep customer behavior analysis and platform expertise to drive growth.
The Sr. Manager of Digital Merchandising will be instrumental in scaling our direct-to-consumer (DTC) business. The ideal candidate has a passion for innovation and is inquisitive in nature. The role will require an ownership mentality that fosters co-working and embodies accountability. Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute merchandising strategy for our expanding product portfolio.
- Manage and execute product portfolio pricing, margin and new product expansion.
- Key stakeholder for Salesforce commerce cloud. Expert on platform capabilities and improvements.
- Elevate the on-site shopping experience through a focus on user-centric design, employing intuitive navigation informed by rigorous A/B testing and comprehensive market data analysis.
- Understand the dynamic between traffic and on-site experience, be the expert in on-platform conversion.
- Execute weekly programs and tactics for merchandising strategy, third party personalization and SEO improvements within Salesforce Commerce Cloud.
- Manage interdepartmental relationships with purchasing, category management and operations.
- Manage our sales and operating plan across departments, ensuring seamless execution of eCommerce programs.
- Stay up to date on digital merchandising tools and modern strategy.
- Channel your passion for food and be knowledgeable on current industry trends from food service, DTC and social.
- Weekly/Monthly business reviews with expert communication to management and leadership.
- 4 years of experience in DTC site management.
- Genuine passion for food and a hunger to drive eCommerce growth.
- Experience with Salesforce Commerce Cloud and ERP systems.
- Proven track record of success in growing DTC brand(s).
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in A/B testing and data-driven decision-making.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills.
