Job Summary: The enrollment team is responsible for ensuring the communities we serve, and those we seek to serve, are aware of and inspired by who we are and what we do with the ultimate goal that every program is fully enrolled and staffed. In support of this outcome, the Family Engagement Specialist is responsible for executing Fortune's strategy for student recruitment, enrollment, and retention by building and maintaining positive relationships with current and prospective families. This role will report to the Family Engagement Lead.
- Build Relationships: Serve as the main point of contact for families, fostering strong connections to enhance scholar success and retention
- Support Enrollment & Persistence: Guide new and returning families through the enrollment process and implement strategies to reduce scholar attrition.
- Community Engagement: Represent Fortune School at community events, canvassing efforts, and school functions to promote awareness and enrollment.
- Case Management: Maintain a caseload of families, providing personalized outreach and support to address barriers to attendance and engagement.
- Collaboration: Partner with school staff, leadership, and community organizations to strengthen family involvement and ensure scholars thrive.
- Data Tracking & Reporting: Monitor family engagement trends, track interactions, and report on key metrics to improve retention efforts.

Salary : $55,000 - $64,000
