Forty Carrots Family Center has new openings for teaching positions within our Preschool (ages 2 to 5). Our NAEYC accredited program has a low student-to-teacher ratio and a commitment to respect and individualized curiosity and care. Using developmentally appropriate practices and play-based activities, our Preschool Educators promote learning and growth in the areas of social-emotional, physical, language & literacy, science & technology, mathematics, social studies, and the arts. Our Preschool Educators employ innovative, creative approaches to learning that stimulate higher level analytical thinking and cognitive abilities, while also ensuring a safe and nurturing environment where children can explore their curiosity and talents and expand their awareness and abilities. Available positions are full-time (35 to 38 hrs/wk) and require a degree in Early Childhood Education or related field - bachelor's or master’s degree is preferred; will consider associate degree with relevant experience. Florida DCF Child Care Personnel Training must be completed within 90 days of hire. Knowledge of Creative Curriculum is helpful but not required. Pay ranges from $19.00 to $24.00 per hour depending on qualifications and experience.
