On the job training available, no experience necessary. NewsCenter1 / KNBN-TV is part of Forum Communications Company, a family-owned and -operated company based in Fargo, North Dakota. NewsCenter1 produces over 16 hours of local news, weather, and sports content each week as we continue to grow.
Rapid City is a growing city located in the beautiful Black Hills of South Dakota, with scenic Mount Rushmore less than 30 minutes from downtown Rapid City. Custer State Park and Wind Cave National Park are also close by attractions, each with some of the largest free-ranging herds of bison in the nation. The nearby Black Hills National Forest offers numerous hiking and ATV opportunities, and Badlands National Park is a short 60 minute drive. In the winter, there are skiing, snowmobiling, and snowshoeing opportunities as well.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS :
- Operate all studio control equipment for live newscasts.
QUALIFICATIONS :
Expected compensation for this role is between $15 and $18 / hour, based on qualifications and experience.
