Services include magazine, catalog, book, and tradeshow printing, brochures, direct mailers, postcards, variable data printing, statements, glossy inserts, annual reports, fulfillment, first class mail pick-up, and print & digital publications.
SUMMARY
Operate sheetfed press equipment on 3rd shift
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
- Operate and maintain equipment.
- Produce a quality product to customer specifications.
- Some light mechanical work or repair.
- Work with another operator to achieve production goals.
- Press preparation-ink, unit setup.
- Press start up and running procedures.
- Maintain color registration and quality.
- Operate forklift and pallet jack as needed.
- Responsible for general maintenance and housekeeping of press.
- Abide by all OSHA regulations and other established company safety policies.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- One year certificate from college or technical school; or three to six months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience preferred.
- Previous printing or pressroom experience preferred, but will train candidates.
- Computer experience is a plus but not necessary.
- Mechanically inclined.
- Lifting of up to 50 lbs.
Expected compensation for this role is between $18 and $23/hour, based on qualifications and experience.
