We are seeking a strategic and results-driven B2B Marketing Specialist to lead our marketing efforts in the energy industry. The ideal candidate will have a proven record of accomplishment in creating and executing effective marketing campaigns, driving new product development, and leveraging digital marketing channels. This role will also focus on advancing our CRM system, enhancing SEO strategies, and supporting website development projects.
Key Responsibilities:
Marketing Strategy and Campaigns:
- Collaborate with stakeholders to develop and execute comprehensive marketing strategies and campaigns.
- Design and create compelling marketing materials, including presentations, brochures, flyers, trade show graphics, and other collateral.
- Manage trade show and event marketing, digital advertising, website content, and social media marketing.
- Ensure consistent branding and design across all marketing efforts in accordance with company guidelines.
CRM Development and Marketing Automation:
- Assist in developing and implementing marketing automation workflows within CRM.
- Contribute to creating and refining CRM processes to improve lead management and customer engagement.
- Provide insights and recommendations to optimize CRM utilization for marketing campaigns.
SEO Optimization:
- Conduct comprehensive keyword research to inform content strategy and drive organic traffic.
- Implement on-page and off-page SEO techniques to improve search engine rankings.
- Monitor and analyze website performance using tools like Google Analytics and Search Console, providing actionable insights.
Website Development Support:
- Assist in managing and updating the company website, ensuring content is current and engaging.
- Support the transition to a new CMS platform, contributing to planning and execution phases.
- Collaborate with external developers and internal stakeholders to ensure website projects align with marketing objectives.
Digital Marketing and Content Creation:
- Develop and execute LinkedIn marketing campaigns to enhance brand presence and generate leads.
- Create compelling content, including blog posts, articles, and social media updates, optimized for SEO.
- Design and produce marketing materials using Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator).
- Produce and edit video content to support marketing initiatives.
Data Analysis and Reporting:
- Analyze marketing data to measure the effectiveness of campaigns and strategies.
- Prepare reports detailing key performance indicators and ROI for senior management review.
- Utilize data visualization tools to present insights and recommendations.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
- 4 years of experience in marketing/advertising, with a focus on B2B marketing and trade show management.
- Proficiency in CRM and marketing automation tools. Microsoft Dynamics is preferred but not required.
- Strong understanding of SEO principles and experience with SEO tools.
- Experience with WordPress and other CMS platforms; familiarity with website migration processes is a plus.
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator) and video editing software.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong business writing skills and a working knowledge of APA-style English, spelling, grammar, and proofreading.
- Photography and videography experience.
- Ability to work independently and as a team player.
- Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and make data-driven decisions.
- Familiarity with the oil and gas industry is a plus.
