We are seeking an experienced machinist to join our team at Forum Energy Technologies. As a key member of our fabrication department, you will be responsible for setting up and operating various machining equipment, including special purpose machines, conventional lathes and mills, and numerical control (NC) machines.

Key Responsibilities:
- Review print & work order.
- Attach fixture to machine and secure part.
- Position tools per setup instructions.
- Input program or program machine if necessary.
- Operate machine to produce part.
- Measure work piece and adjust offset as required.
- Stamp or engrave necessary information on part.
- Notify supervisor or lead man of nonconforming product.
- Deburr part as necessary.
- Complete work order documentation & first piece inspection.
- Check calibration on QC instruments.
- Proof program & edit as necessary.
- Optimize tooling & programs to increase production.
- Operate forklift as needed.
Requirements:
- Able to read and interpret documents such as blueprints, safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
- Must have working knowledge of geometric dimensioning and tolerancing (GD & T).
- Able to apply basic concepts of algebra and geometry.
