Pay Range: $19.00 to $24.00 per hour
2nd Shift: 3:00 pm to 11:30 pm
Every other weekend, 3 holidays per year required

- Payable in two installments after 6 months and 12 months on the job.
What you'll do as a Lead Floor Technician
- Supervise floor staff, helping technicians perform their work accurately, efficiently, and consistently throughout the shift.
- Support all pharmacy departments to ensure medications are prepared accurately and timely.
- Schedule floor technicians to ensure staffing requirements of the shift are met; assist in training new staff and coordinating ongoing programs.
- Participate in interdisciplinary process improvement, development, and implementation.
- Interface with management and vendors to resolve issues, maintain supply items, and ensure uninterrupted workflow.
What we need
- Current unencumbered license in the state of practice: Certified Pharmacy Technician (certification not required for Illinois Pharmacy Technicians licensed before 2008).
- Experience in long-term care or hospital pharmacy required.
- Supervisory experience a plus.
- Excellent math, written and verbal communication, and interpersonal skills required.
- Every other weekend and 3 holidays per year required.
