What are the responsibilities and job description for the RN IV Nurse position at Forum Health?

Our patients come to us with a variety of ailments and in such we seek to offer a wide variety of targeted and personalized treatments as we take a team approach to treating our patients and rely on our staff to take ownership over the care provided under the direction of the providers. We are proud to announce that our Modesto CA, office is looking to hire an experienced IV RN with excellent bedside manner to join our dynamic team supporting patients seeking a preventative health approach to changes in their lives. Patients include all ages of adults - menopausal, Andro pausal, seniors, younger women, and men with hormonal imbalances of thyroid, sex hormones, adrenals and more. This is a Part time position with the potential to grow into FT later.
Required education/experience
- Must be a Registered Nurse
- Must have BCLS certification
- Must be friendly and understand the importance of excellent customer service
- Must possess at least 5 years’ experience in general patient care
- Must be able to multitask
- Must possess excellent written and verbal communication skills
- IV experience is REQUIRED
- Extensive IV Experience
Duties and responsibilities include the following. (Other duties may be assigned)
- Administer treatments and medications as prescribed
- Provide general patient care
- Administer injections and lab testing
- Review and refill medications per protocols
- Provide PT education and counseling
- Maintain a safe, secure, and healthy work environment by following, and enforcing, standards and procedures, complying with legal regulations
