The primary function of this role will be to provide program cost analysis for existing and new program initiatives. This individual will be joining a well established and growing global team that is helping to move the automotive market forward.

Daily Responsibilities
- Analyze and determine the costs of labor, materials, equipment, and other factors for various bill-of-material components, processes, and services
- Review and analyze supplier cost breakdowns, feasibility studies, drawings and other documents to understand a specifications and requirements.
- Develop and maintain timely, accurate and data driven cost models for the purpose of cost validation and target costing, assisting Hella purchasing with negotiations of better rates for long-term or large-scale projects.
- Aggressively seek-out / pursue cost savings opportunities requiring out-of-the-box thinking.
- Determine factors and cost drivers negatively influencing supplier costs. Research, create and present data driven cost models to negotiate, and obtain the best prices from suppliers and vendors.
- Working experience in manufacturing/industrial processing, cost estimating and/or cost analysis.
- Knowledge of manufacturing processes such as Injection Molding, Die Casting, Stamping, Powdered Metal and Plating processes.
- Ability to review and interpret technical documentation.
- Exceptional critical thinking and analytical skills. Meticulous attention to detail.
- Communication and teamwork.
- Availability to travel locally and abroad as the need arises.
