We are working with a well regarded Real Estate and Development group in the Bowling Green, KY area that is seeking to fill an In-House Council position. The ideal candidate will have 3-5 years of legal experience, with a strong background in real estate and development law. This role requires a proactive and detail-oriented individual who is licensed to practice law in the state of Kentucky.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide legal advice and support on a wide range of real estate and development matters, including acquisitions, dispositions, leasing, zoning, and land use.
- Draft, review, and negotiate contracts, agreements, and other legal documents.
- Conduct legal research and stay up-to-date with relevant laws and regulations.
- Collaborate with internal teams and external stakeholders to ensure compliance with legal requirements and company policies.
- Manage and resolve legal disputes and litigation as needed.
- Assist in the development and implementation of company policies and procedures.
- Provide training and guidance to staff on legal matters.
Qualifications:
- Degree from an accredited law school.
- Licensed to practice law in the state of Kentucky.
- 3-5 years of legal experience, preferably in real estate and development law.
- Strong knowledge of real estate transactions, contracts, and regulatory compliance.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- High level of integrity and professionalism.
