What are the responsibilities and job description for the Advisor position at Forvis Mazars?
Forvis Mazars US is seeking to add a Wealth Management professional to serve as an Associate Advisor who assists senior wealth management advisors in working with high-net-worth families in our Forvis Mazars US Private Client practice.
How you will contribute:
- Supporting a Wealth Management team of advisors serving affluent families
- Assisting families in creating comprehensive wealth management strategies including:
- Financial Planning
- Retirement Planning
- Investment Management
- Education Planning
- Estate & Legacy Planning
- Survivor Assistance
- Develop/maintain in-depth expertise and global knowledge of wealth management services.
- Actively support business development activities to identify, pursue & acquire new clients.
- An individual who is a self-starter
- Passionate about serving clients.
- Familiarity with the financial planning process and financial planning software
- Ability to effectively communicate with clients and simplify the complex.
- The ability to work in a team environment.
- Ability to travel as needed.
- Ability to coordinate & work on multiple, concurrent client projects & complete assignments with minimal supervision.
- Bachelor's degree is required: Financial planning degree preferred.
- Completed coursework in order to be eligible to sit for the CFP exam.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Certified Financial Planner (CFP) designation
