How you will contribute :
- Assist internal team members with client tax return needs : develop open items list, maintain status of open items list, gather data from client and provide to tax team, coordinate receipt of information and develop delivery turnaround expectations, determine clients' schedules to develop realistic delivery expectations
- Create / maintain and Quick Assess Tax Caddy
- Request and Organize information for quarterly tax estimates
- Ensure clients receive unmatched client service and communicate any areas for improvement of client relationship to team leadership when needed; assure full transparency of information to all internal teams as necessary
- Maintain up-to-date client records in system
- Maintain a list of clients' "needs" and "wants" as well as the appropriate schedule and timelines associated with these
- Ensure that projects are on track and delivery expectations are attainable by monitoring task lists and expected delivery and due dates
- Schedule and coordinate meetings with the clients
- Facilitate Billing and prepare draft invoice
- Prepare and maintain Engagement Letters / Powers of Attorney
- Facilitate Alternative Billing options including obtaining analysis and developing alternative proposals in coordination with Engagement Executive Develop and execute plans to improve below benchmark performance; work closely with client and internal partners to get the program back on track
- Communicate any potential client expansion and business development opportunities to the Relationship Partner Organize and monitor internal team's schedule to ensure client work is completed on time
- Maintain / Coordinate client service plans in coordination with both the client and internal Forvis Mazars Stakeholders
- Track the client outcomes over the course of the client engagement.
- Responsible for ongoing, regular client progress reviews, reporting, status update client meetings and communications
- Identify opportunities if client progress is falling below benchmark, both internally and with clients
- Work with internal tax team and client to improve delivery expectations where needed
- Monitor and communicate relevant client news
