Requirements:
- Must be a Licensed Vocational Nurse
- Must have 1 year Long Term Care Experience
As an LVN Instructor at Faith Forward Nurse Aide Training Academy, I understand that my job duties are a vast number of student/patient care items that may or may not be listed below.
I understand that I must follow the bylaws of my license and operate within the scope of my practice under the license.
The Instructor is to conduct self in professional manner at all times while in classroom or client partner facilities and/or hospitals.
The Instructor will report timely to all class dates, and arrive no less than 15 minutes prior to start time in order to be prepared for student arrivals.
The Instructor will complete all tasks.
Any issues or challenges arising during the day will be communicated directly to the Program Director or CEO immediately.
Utilize approved curriculum for teaching and presentation purposes.
Utilize class syllabus and maintain schedule accordingly.
Complete all skills with all students and ensure students pass competency prior to finishing course.
Must be able to physically complete skills on a mannequin or resident if needed and complete return demonstrations for students when necessary.
Maintain class schedule and environment to ensure student satisfaction and learning environment.
Serve as a resource to graduated students to ensure all students are prepared for state exam and understand how to enroll for state exam.
Develop individual plans to meet student needs and achieve career goals.
Manage daily attendance records to ensure all students meet attendance requirement.
Register graduated students in state testing portal and ensure tests are getting scheduled timely.
Work with administration office in order to ensure all students are paid in full prior to graduation.
Follow FFA social media policies and maintain professionalism on social media pages.
