What are the responsibilities and job description for the Independent Contractor - Appliance Delivery/Install - Home Depot position at Forward Air?
We are currently seeking Contracted Delivery Carrier Partners to Service our Home Depot Client in Detroit, MI and surrounding areas. We deliver and install standard appliances to Home owners; Washer, Dryer, Fridge, Range, OTR Microwaves, Dishwashers, etc.. We are a 6 day a week operation.
Business Requirements:
Incorporated Business or LLC
DOT/MC Authority
Own/lease 24-26ft Straight Truck W/Lift gate or ability to rent one.
Maintain General Liability Auto / Cargo and Workers Compensation Insurance
Clean Driving Record (Driver) / Pass background check (Driver/Helper)
Be able-bodied for heavy lifting and moving of appliances
At least one year appliance delivery and installation experience preferred
- We can provide training and if you don't have all the requirements above, we can also assist you in obtaining.
Annual Revenue could exceed $180K/Truck.
