Forward Financial Credit Union History

Niagara Paper Employees Credit Union was formed in September of 1948 by a group of employees of the paper mill, sharing a common bond, who were seeking a better means of savings and loans for themselves.

At that time the credit union was only made up of employees of the paper mill and their families.

Over the years, other individuals expressed interest in belonging to the credit union resulting in several expansions of the field of membership. Today, all persons living, working or worshipping in Brown, Florence, Forest, Marinette, and Oconto counties of Wisconsin and Delta, Dickinson, Iron, Marquette, and Menominee counties of Michigan and their families are eligible to join.

Job Summary

• Full Time, 40 hours average/ 5 days per week.
• Member service
• Money handling
• Data entry. Experience in Microsoft Excel, Word and PDF's would be beneficial.
• Must be able to lift or carry over 25 pounds or more.

Qualifications

• Strong and financial services
• Proficient in cash handling and debits & credits
• Excellent customer service and relationship management skills
• Experience with data entry and financial software
• Familiarity with Microsoft Excel and Word
• Basic math skills and retail math knowledge
• Ability to detect and prevent fraud

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional customer service by assisting clients with their banking needs and inquiries.
• Handle cash transactions accurately, ensuring proper debits and credits are recorded.
• Utilize basic math skills to process financial transactions and maintain cash management.
• Maintain customer relationships through effective communication and relationship management.
• Assist in data entry and the use of financial software to support banking operations.

• 8 hour shift
• Monday to Friday
• Weekends as needed
